Account & Data Deletion Request

Committee Book App (BC Digitization System)

Users of the Committee Book App can permanently delete their account and associated data directly from within the app. We do not require emails, support tickets, or external requests.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account, please follow these steps inside the app:

  1. Launch the Committee Book App

  2. From the Bottom Navigation Bar, tap on Profile

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Profile screen

  4. Tap on Delete Account (located above the Logout button)

  5. A confirmation dialog will appear

  6. Confirm the deletion

Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.











What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • User profile (name, username, photo, city)

  • Authentication data (Firebase Auth account)

  • Committees created by you

  • Memberships in other committees

  • Chat messages sent by you

  • Uploaded payment proof images

  • Lucky draw history linked to your account

  • Notification tokens

Deletion Timeframe

  • Account deletion is immediate

  • Data removal occurs instantly or within a few minutes

  • Once deleted, data cannot be recovered

Data Retention Exceptions (If Any)

  • Aggregated, anonymized committee statistics (non-identifiable)

  • Legal or compliance-related logs (if required by law)

 These records do not contain personal or identifiable user information.

Alternative Deletion Request (Optional – Recommended)

If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by contacting us:

Include:

  • Registered email address

  • Username

We will process the request within 7 working days.

(This section is optional but improves Play Console approval chances.)
